International Organization of Paleobotany meeting, Bonn Germany 8/30-9/5 2008
Besides a lively scientific meeting, the venue provided an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful German city and its restaurants. The university is located directly across from the central city square where participants could enjoy a break and informal conversations. Ludvig von Beethoven is Bonn's most famous son and the city square was decorated on opening day with a gathering of Beethoven statues painted by local artists.
